What are Investor Visas?

Individuals and entrepreneurs may be eligible to come to the US through one of several investor visas. Investor visas include E-1, E-2, as well as EB-5 visas, among others. Investor visa qualifications, requirements, and benefits vary greatly and it is important to discuss various options with a qualified attorney. Some investment visas allow an individual to work in the US but do not provide a direct path to citizenship. Other investment visas include a permanent residency, or a Green Card option. Despite the name, investment visas do not necessarily require an exact investment amount. And some investment visas are only available to individuals from certain countries.
